The History of Max’s Dairy
Max’s Dairy has been a tradition in the Wapakoneta community since the early 1950s. The Dairy Bar was originally established on the corner of Bellefontaine and Benton Streets by Max Schlatter. The tradition of Max’s has continued for generation serving up its original soft serve recipe for more than 70 years.

Dole Whip
We offer a dairy free, lactose free and gluten free alternative to ice cream in a variety of flavors! The flavor changes each week!
Hard Dip Ice Cream
Try our hard dipped ice cream in over 15 flavors available in a cup, cone or waffle cone! Or take a whole pint or quart home!
Sandwiches
Our Max’s BBQ sandwich is an original recipe and a customer favorite! Don’t like BBQ? Try on of our other delicious sandwiches!
